Pipedrive Review 2025

Pipedrive is a CRM that focuses on the essentials: moving sales forward. All features are designed with a specific goal in mind: to help you increase your team's productivity and never let an opportunity slip through the cracks.
Here are some key elements that illustrate this philosophy:
Quick creation of contacts and deals
Activity tracking (calls, emails, meetings) with automatic reminders
Simple automations to avoid repetitive tasks
Direct integration with your messaging tools (Gmail, Outlook…)
The user experience is smooth, fast, and designed for non-technical users. You can use the CRM without extensive training, making large-scale adoption easier.

Who is Pipedrive for?
Pipedrive is primarily aimed at small businesses and sales teams looking for a clear, intuitive CRM tailored for sales performance. Perfect for structuring your prospecting, tracking opportunities, and automating daily tasks.
Our Pipedrive review: what we liked (and what we liked less)
What we appreciate
The first thing that stands out when you test Pipedrive is its well-thought-out ergonomics. The interface is clear, visual, and free of options overload. Everything is designed so you can use it without friction, whether it's to create an opportunity, schedule a follow-up, or automate a task. It's not for nothing that we've been using Pipedrive internally for over 7 years; it's a tool that works well.
Identified strengths include:
Quick onboarding from the first connections
100% customizable pipeline, with fields and steps tailored to your business
Simple automations to configure: task creation, notifications, email sending based on specific triggers
Smooth search and effective filters, even with a large database
Convenient mobile app for salespeople on the go
What may hold you back
Even though Pipedrive has many advantages, it also has its limitations. One of the first drawbacks for some is the lack of a long-term free plan. You get a 14-day trial, but afterward, you must switch to a paid plan, even for small teams.
Other points to note:
No integrated marketing functions: no email campaign management or complex automations related to marketing funnels
No tool for creating landing pages or managing social networks
Limits on advanced reporting in the basic plans
If you're looking for an all-in-one CRM that includes marketing and customer service, Pipedrive might be too sales-focused. You'll need to couple it with other tools or consider solutions like HubSpot.
Value for money according to the plans
Pipedrive offers clear and scalable pricing. The basic plan starts at $12.50/month/user when paid annually, which is very affordable for a freelancer or a small team.
What we take from it:
The Essential plan is ideal for starting at a low cost, with basic tools for managing your pipeline
The Advanced plan is, in our opinion, the best compromise, offering automations and email synchronization
The Professional plan becomes relevant as soon as you need advanced reporting and bulk email sending
Comparison table – Advantages and disadvantages of Pipedrive
Positive points
Intuitive and easy-to-use interface
Visual and customizable pipeline view
Simple and effective automations
Good value for money, especially in annual plans
Email synchronization and interaction tracking
Smooth integration with external tools (Gmail, Slack, Zapier, etc.)
High-performance mobile app for salespeople on the go
Responsive and multilingual customer support
Negative points
No free plan after the 14-day trial
Limited marketing features (no campaigns, no newsletters)
Advanced reporting only available on higher plans
Paid add-ons (LeadBooster, Web Visitors…)
Pricing rises quickly with the number of users
French translations sometimes partial
Less suited for large enterprises or very complex processes
No integrated project management or customer service features
What users say about Pipedrive?
To get a more complete view, we consulted several review platforms: Capterra, Trustpilot, G2, La Fabrique du Net, and Independant.io. Pipedrive generally scores between 4.2 and 4.6 stars out of 5, placing it among the best-rated CRMs in its category.
The majority of reviews come from SMEs, freelancers, startups, or sales teams in larger companies. These users highlight tangible productivity gains but also some frustrations, especially related to the limitations of certain plans.
Our agency's opinion: Is Pipedrive suitable for your business?
For freelancers
If you are self-employed, a consultant, or a freelancer, Pipedrive is an excellent starting point to structure your activities without complicating your life.
The Essential plan is usually sufficient to start, with all the basic features: contact management, a customized pipeline, interaction history. You can then upgrade to a higher plan as your business grows.
For SMEs with a sales team
For small and medium-sized enterprises with several salespeople, Pipedrive becomes even more interesting.
The Advanced plan is particularly well-suited as it meets the daily needs of a well-organized team without overwhelming the interface. You can also easily integrate it with other tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Zapier, etc.) to streamline communication.
For growing companies
If your business is growing, Pipedrive can support you… provided that you set up your environment correctly from the start. The Professional plan then becomes interesting for unlocking advanced features.
