What is Gro and the Squadron?

Gro and the Squadron are two companies that help construction businesses become more efficient and grow through technology. We are a team of about 30 people who handle software implementation, coaching, training, digital marketing, and cultural integration in companies.

Now, we are the ones who need help! We want to have the assistance of someone who has experience in a similar role and who has the ambition to achieve our goals with our sales team.

Job Description

As an SDR (Sales Development Representative), you will be responsible for contacting prospects from all our studios (Efficiency, Growth, Squadron) and scheduling sales calls with them and our sellers. You will work closely in collaboration with the sellers and your team lead to ensure smooth communication between setting and sales.

Role & Responsibilities (4 main missions)

  • Contacting

    • Contacting prospects on a daily basis that the company generates and that are collected in the CRM.

  • Qualification:

    • Qualifying these prospects according to predetermined qualification criteria.

  • Execution

    • Scheduling sales calls for the sellers.

  • Maintaining Contact

    • Ensuring the prospect's presence during the scheduled meeting.

    • Rescheduling sales calls as needed.

Skills & Expectations

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to make an impact, build relationships with an open mind, and be passionate about excellent customer service.

  • Ability to engage productively in complex and changing environments.

  • Passion for thinking outside the box to shape solutions for engaging communication with our target clientele.

  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing collaboration and teamwork.

  • Ability to manage stress and communicate transparently and respectfully.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Equivalent experience in a similar role.

  • Previous experience in sales and (customer service, an asset), at least 1 year.

  • Availability to work full-time during the day.

  • Availability to work evenings as well as Saturdays as needed.

  • Bilingualism (French, English)
